Back to School Baby!

Well, even though school is starting, spirits are at an all time high at MOB. That’s right, no sign of the back-to-school blues here. There are just too many exciting things going on to be bothered with furthering one’s education. We have bikes to ride. Get on your bikes!

Speaking of going back to school, though, no self-respecting high schooler should be without a brand new Mock Orange Bikes t-shirt. Coming in several very stylish color combinations, the newest edition of MOB T’s are here! Let all your classmates know where your heart truly lies as you begin your year long wrestling match with honors biology. You would rather be on the porch at MOB, hanging out after a satisfying bike ride, of course! As you enter the shop to pick up your new T and are trying to figure out which hot new version to go with, Charles will gladly model each color for you to help with your decision.

Continuing with great new stuff, the long awaited Mock Orange Bikes water bottles are in stock! Choose from two different sizes and color schemes. That cool, clean water just seems to taste better coming out of that fresh new MOB water bottle.

We are looking forward to this Saturday’s Town and Country road ride. We will meet at the shop at 9 am as usual and ride at a casual pace for about three hours. The weather should be good, the company will be great, so come and get the weekend rolling on the right foot (er, wheel?) The ride will head north of town through Germanton and return to the shop via Rural Hall. We’ll see you then!

Looking a little further ahead, the fifth annual Fourth Street Criterium will be held the evening of Friday, September 8. This is the kick-off event for a great weekend of racing, ending with the Carolina Cup in Greensboro on September 10th. The Fourth Street course is in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem and is lots of fun. Racing starts at 6:15 and concludes with the pro/am race at 8:45. Visit www.4thstreetcrit.com for more information.
