Hanes Park Classic - -8/5/07

This Sunday is the Hanes Park Classic! This is a fantastic day down in the West End. Not only is there quality bike racing for participants and spectators alike, but this is a full-blown family fun experience! The promoter, Winston-Salem based Cyclesafe.org, has done an excellent job in spear–heading this day and making it a true top notch happening in Winston-Salem. This year, the pro race is part of the prestigious NRC calendar, which insures that some of the country’s top cycling talent will be in attendance. Amateur racing begins in the morning, there is a 5k run at 2:05 in the afternoon, followed by the pro race at 3:30. There are also kid friendly attractions in the expo area, and the course rolls right in front of the MOB, so we will be rockin’ for sure!
